Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) IGP Commercial Hub has proudly conducted the official inauguration of its grand opening and blessing ceremony on February 28, 2024.
The blessing ceremony was presided over by Priest Fr. Elmer Sumile, ICAS de Calarian, who bestowed his blessings upon the new venture.
President Nelson P. Cabral, in his message, emphasized that the establishment of the ZPPSU IGP Commercial Hub marks a significant milestone for the university, opening doors to various opportunities for growth and development.
The ceremony witnessed the simultaneous opening of 6 out of 8 businesses within the hub, including:
– Black Plate – Food and Drinks
– Kingfrost Coffee Shop
– Elead Bookshop and School Supplies
– Fabulouz – Arts and Crafts
– Chef Jose
-Ole-ole Malaysian Restaurant
Soon to open:
– Coca-Cola Beverages
-Allen One 24/7 Convenience Store
Distinguished guests in attendance included members of the Board of Regents such as Hon. Celso Lobregat and Hon. Dr. Mario Arriola, as well as Hon. Martin Wee, the DOST R9 Regional Director, ZPPSU Vice Presidents, Directors, Heads, and other key officials.
The grand opening and blessing ceremony were spearheaded by Dr. Dorothy Tan, IGP Director, under the guidance and mentorship of Vice President Josephine L. Sulasula.
