The ZPPSU GAD Awards shines a light on individuals who have gone beyond duty to advocate for gender and development, creating spaces where everyone can thrive regardless of gender.

“As we celebrate their achievements, we are also reminded of the collective power of a community united in advancing gender-responsive programs and policies. May their stories ignite a deeper sense of purpose within each of us to become active participants in building an inclusive society,” the Vice President said.

The university community is hopeful that all employees embody the spirit of “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas” by nurturing leadership that is grounded in empathy, wisdom, and cultural pride. Let us continue to break barriers, challenges, stereotypes, and create opportunities for every woman to rise and lead.

The initiative is led by the ZPPSU — Gender and Development Office headed by Director Mary Fe Dela Cruz along with the coordinators.

“I did not expect any awards. I am just doing my work and my best for the ZPPSU family, where no one feels left behind,” emphasized by the Babaylan of the Year Awardee – Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Josephine L. Sulasula. (JRA/ABC/Public Information Office)
