The Office of the Culture and Arts of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University conducted the first-ever theater art workshop among the identified student-participants at the university gymnasium recently.
To note, โDula: A Theater Arts Workshop,โ has invited participants to explore the art of performance through acting as well as to embrace both the Filipino sense of theater (Dula) and the Bisayan sense of play (Dula).


The workshop aimed to cultivate creative courage, ensemble thinking, and cultural storytelling. It provides a safe space to experiment with form, voice, movement, and stagecraft, with the Coach Rosalie Escala Sharif as the resource speaker.
Meanwhile, the university has also joined in the nationwide closing ceremony of the National Arts Month 2026, highlighting the winners of the arts competitions and the utmost participation of the students in the month-long event.



The closing ceremony was graced by ZPPSU Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Cyrus Pil Cadavedo, OSAS Dean Dr. Romel Guillermo, Director of the Institutional Student Program Services Prof. Clarissa V. Acac, Director of the ZPPSU Culture and Arts Prof. Ma. Jessamine Andajao, faculty members, staff, and students.
