ZPPSU maps its path to SUC Level IV

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to institutional excellence, the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, through the Planning and Programming Office, held a three-day Strategic Planning Workshop for SUC Leveling Readiness: Road to SUC Level IV at the L’ Meridian Suites from November 5 to 7, this year.

The activity aimed to align the university’s goals and initiatives with the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) Leveling Instrument β€” a framework for assessing the performance of higher education institutions in key areas such as governance, management, instruction, research, extension, and linkages. During the workshop, administrators, academic leaders, and key support staff reviewed the Key Result Areas (KRAs) and indicators used in the leveling process β€” these areas assessed the university’s current level of compliance and readiness, aligned initiatives, and identified gaps for improvement.

Through collaborative sessions, the participants clustered by KRA crafted a Strategic Action Plan outlining specific strategy, timeliness, and responsible offices to enhance the university’s overall performance. The workshop also produced a Readiness Assessment Report and an Evidence Mapping Matrix consolidating the University’s compliance with SUC Leveling requirements.

The activity concluded with the signing of a Commitment and Accountability Framework, delineating the roles and responsibilities of all offices and units, and symbolizing the collective responsibility toward SUC Leveling targets.
