Heads Up! The Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, through the ZPPSU Gender and Development Office, spearheads this year’s month-long celebration of National Women’s Month. With the sub-theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas!” and anchored on the six-year theme of the Philippine Commission on Women, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” this event celebrates the strength and leadership of women across all sectors. It also aligns with the global observance of International Women’s Day (IWD), highlighting our collective commitment to a more inclusive and equal society.
