The comprehensive review encompassed an assessment of physical, financial, and income performances, reflecting ZPPSU’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Ms. Alelie B. Ramos, DBM-9 ARD commended ZPPSU for its exemplary performance and emphasized the importance of fostering synergies between government and academic entities in driving regional development. The success of ZPPSU’s Agency Performance Review not only celebrates the university’s achievements but also highlights the transformative potential of collaboration between government and academic sectors. Moreover , ZPPSU remains steadfast in its pursuit of excellence, dedicated to shaping the future of education, as Dr. Cabral articulated the university’s commitment to academic and administrative excellence. The event was graced by esteemed government officials, including staff from the Department of Budget and Management-9, such as Chief Budget Management Specialist Ms. Rizelle Bethzaida P. San Diego, and Budget and Management Specialist II Janice L. Vintug. Also, key university figures such as President Dr. Nelson P. SCHOLARSHIP ALLOWANCE FOR ZPPSU MALANGAS

A total of 96 Tulong Dunong Program – Tertiary Education Subsidy (TDP-TES) grantees from Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University – Ana M. Baquial Malangas Campus received a stipend allowance worth 15,000 pesos each recently. ZPPSU – Scholarship Office Director Prof. Lilia P. Remoto led the distribution and general orientation among the scholars with the staff of the ZPPSU-Guidance Counseling Office and ZPPSU-Cashiers Office. Guidance and Counseling and Testing Service Office Director Ms. Janet G. Pangilinan of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University spearheaded a mental health talk among students of ZPPSU – Ana M. Baquial Malangas Campus in Zamboanga Sibugay, February 7. Ms. Pangilinan affirmed the students, encouraging them to determine how to handle stress and advising them to always be open to their trusted others and make healthy choices. ZPPSU Pencak Silat, Picke Ball finish in winning podiums

With the flaming passion in sports, contenders from Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University Pencak Silat and Pickle Ball have emerged victorious at the recently concluded competitions respectively. ZPPSU Pencak Silat Team garnered a total of 15 golds, 13 silvers, and 6 bronze medals during the 12th Dinagyang Pencak Silat National Inter-School Championship 2024, which was held at Iloilo City. The dominating performances of the team have helped them land as 2nd placer overall. Pencak Silat key players were π‘πˆπ‚π€ πŒπ€π„ 𝐏. ππŽπ‡πŽπ‹π’π“ (BPED 3A), π€π„π’πŽπ πŽπŒπ€π‘ π€πƒπƒπˆπ‡ (BSIT 2-B), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐕𝐄 π†πŽππ™π€π‹π„π’ (DT-AUTOMOTIVE) with Mr. Sheijan Amarani, as the head coach. ZPPSU-SHS claims awards in DSPC 2024

The student-journalists of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University – Senior High School (ZPPSU-SHS) emerged as victors from the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), which was held at the Zamboanga Central School SPED Center. The said conference was hosted by the Zamboanga City Division Office (ZCDO) and participated by endowed contenders from the different secondary education institutions in two categories (English and Tagalog). Pres. Cabral praises RD Ridao’s contributions to Mindanao SUCs

Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral conveyed a heartfelt message lauding the exemplary dedication and commitment of National Economic and Development Authority Regional Director Phlorita A. Ridao, emphasizing her significant role as one of the most active trustees or regents among the six State Universities and Colleges (SUCS) in Mindanao, held at Mardale Hotel and Convetion Center, Pagadian, Zamboanga Del Sur. “RD Ridao’s presence, ideas, inputs, and overall contributions in all board meetings clearly reflect her unwavering dedication and commitment as the head of the NEDA-9,” President Cabral stressed. Dr. Cabral further commended Ridao’s invaluable participation in various board undertakings, showcasing her expertise, willingness to share opinions, and ability to engage in constructive arguments when necessary. He also highlighted her generosity in providing solutions to pertinent issues. Among those who expressed gratitude and bid farewell to RD Ridao were DOST Regional Director Hon. Martin A. OJT ORIENTATION FOR DT & TITE COURSES

Delving into the realm of professional technical education, 3rd-year students from the Diploma of Technology and Trade Industrial Technical Education underwent the On-the-Job Training Orientation Program at the ZPPSU gymnasium today, February 07. A total of nine DT and one TITE programs were duly oriented. The program aims to expose higher education students to real-life work experience and to improve the productivity and work motivations of the trainees. Further, the ZPPSU committed to ensuring the safe working environment of the students from first to last day of their proper training. The ZPPSU functionaries who are involved in the deployment of the OJTs were present to include VP for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Maria Christina Wee, Institute of Technical Education Dean Prof. Norwesa Madriaga, OJT-Apprenticeship and Placement Director Clarisa Acac and other key officials. #OneZPPSU
