A green initiative kicked off the celebration of the 121st foundation anniversary and 5th anniversary as university of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU), as simultaneous tree-growing activities were conducted at the Watershed in Canucutan, Upper Pasonanca and the Manicahan Riverbank in Zamboanga City, and EPDU Campuses across the region, held today, March 24.

Through the University Climate Change Committee, university officials and staff engaged in planting tree seedlings, demonstrating environmental responsibility and promoting community engagement.

The PROJECT TANIM reflects ZPPSU’s commitment to its theme: “121 ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐”.

This collective action supports Sustainable Development Goals 15: Life of Land and 13: Climate Change, reinforcing its role in environmental protection for a greener, healthier and more resilient future.
