To realize an efficient evaluation of bids and smooth procurement process flow, the newly created Technical Working Group for Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Goods and Services for Fiscal Year 2026, held an orientation at the FabLab building on February 10.
The TWG are expected to examine and validate the technical requirements prepared by the end-user, and to ensure they are clear, complete, non-restrictive, and responsive to the actual needs of the agency.
The event was spearheaded by Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Cyrus Pil Cadavedo, as the chairperson of the BAC for Goods and Services.
The group is aimed at evaluating fair and consistent bids, as well as ensuring the members of the TWG must give priority to procurement tasks over their procurement duties until the completion of the procurement assignment.
