President Cabral shares university progress, urges employees to be more responsible

The first flag ceremony for year 2025, was held and graced by all teaching and non-teaching personnel of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University at the open ground of the main campus today, January 06. ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, attended the traditional Monday observance, and reiterated the working force to start the year as committed to work and compliant to the stipulated policies of the ZPPSU. “You are here in ZPPSU, so you have to work for ZPPSU,” Dr. Cabral emphasized. He also shared the university progress among working core officials and rising infrastructures in ZPPSU to include the Rubberized Oval with Mini-Grandstand, CICS Building, Health & Wellness Building, Gym Renovation, and more. ZPPSU-OSAS offices mark 100% achieved goals, objectives

Coordinating offices centered on student affairs and services of the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University have celebrated their achievements during the Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation on July 12. Dean of the Student Affairs and Services Dr. Rommel Guillermo, on his opening message, shared the pivotal objectives and goals of the office specifically to support students holistically as well as to align all efforts in moving forward. To note, OSAS team focuses on the three folds to include; (1.) Assessment of our goals; (2.) Assess our development; and (3.) Strategic alignment of the institution. Further, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Ma. Christina Wee extended her appreciation to the participants as the event has served a valuable opportunity for reflection and growth. “This is about understanding your strengths, identifying areas for improvement, and charting for continuous success,” Dr. Wee affirmed. ZPPSU joins 2024 PASUC annual convention and general assembly

The Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU), headed by the university president and vice president for PASUC-Mindanao, Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, attended the 2024 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Annual Convention and General Assembly at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City, on July 15-17, 2024. The 2024 PASUC convention aims to create an inclusive platform for diverse stakeholders to share different perspectives and engage in collaborative discussions, centered on this year’s theme “Advancing Competitiveness of SUCs for National Development”. The convention was also attended by notable ZPPSU Vice Presidents: VPAF Josephine Sulasula, VPAA Dr. Roy Valesco, VPRE Dr. Rolando Malalay and VPSAS Dr. Ma. Cristina Wee; Hon. Rachel E.
