SUC, Gov’t leaders converge at Higher Education Summit

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — Convening state universities and colleges (SUC) presidents, key government officials, and higher education stakeholders converged to have a discourse on the development and roadmap of the ACHIEVE Agenda within the first 100 days of Commission on Higher Education (CHER) Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, held in Manila Hotel today, September 15.

Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral joined in the convergence, signifying his and the entire university’s support to Dr. Agrupis’ leadership.

Moreover, agenda ACHIEVE focuses on Advanced and Accessible Lifelong Learning, Centralized One-Nation Human Capital Development, Harmonized SDG-Based Research & Innovation Agenda, Integrated Real-time Data Collection and Analytics, Expanded and Impact-Driven Internationalization Strategies, Vitalized Policies, Internal Systems, and Governance, and Effective and Efficient Public Service.

Further, the event will highlight CHED’s commitment to enhancing quality assurance, innovation, equity and access and global competitiveness in the Philippine higher education landscape.
