ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral engaged in a dialogue with the leaders at the 2025 Presidents’ Summit, hosted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), held at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila, from August 14 to 15, this year.


The core objectives of the summit are to introduce and contextualize the new framework for quality assurance and accreditation, ensuring that institutional leaders grasp its principles, scope, intended outcomes, and encourage collaborative dialogue among presidents and key stakeholders on best practices, challenges, and innovations in the evolving landscape of higher education accreditation.

Moreover, the summit also focused on aligning institutional strategies with national and international quality benchmarks, promoting continuous improvement and global competitiveness; equipping participants with strategic approaches and insights in implementing new directions in quality assurance within their respective institutions; and pursuing a shared commitment to excellence, transparency, and accountability in higher education governance, guided by the new framework.
