Committed to transparency, fairness and inclusivity in public procurement, the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), held its second Suppliers’ Forum, at the ZPPSU Fab Lab Building today, Feb 05.
VPAF Ms. Josephine Sulasula, the forumโs proponent, is hopeful that the university and its suppliers may work together toward a procurement system that is efficient, competitive, and corruption-free.

Further, University Legal Assistant Atty. Mary Therese G. Sadaya discussed the Republic Act No. 12009 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, emphasizing the key principles and reforms that modernize government procurement in the Philippines and strengthen the procurement capacity of suppliers.

The activity facilitated open dialogue to address concerns, listen to feedback, and align procurement procedures and practices.

Moreover, certificates of excellence were awarded to suppliers for exemplary performance and significant contributions to the universityโs FY 2025 plans and programs.
The Suppliersโ Forum underscores ZPPSUโs commitment to fostering collaboration, upholding public trust, maintaining quality standards, and promoting good governance and anti-corruption.
