A significant milestone in the shared commitment to advancing quality technical education and skills development in Zamboanga Peninsula archipelago, has formally inked a Memorandum of Agreement between the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University and The Technical Education and Skills Development โ€“ Regional Office IX, held at the Accreditation Room today, February 13.

The ceremonial signing was represented by ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral and TESDA-RO IX Acting Regional Director Engr. Alan T. Bacatan, and personally witnessed by the Deputy Director General for TESDA Operations, Hon. Vidal D. Villanueva III.

To note, the proponent of the initiative is ZPPSU’s Vice President for Administration and Finance, Ms. Josephine L. Sulasula โ€“ who expressed deep appreciation to the event and highlighted the need of partnership and collaboration to further boost the technical vocational programs of the university.

This collaboration formally establishes the TESDA-ZPPSU partnership for technical vocational education training, assessment, and skills development as both institutions affirm their dedication to strengthening technical vocational education and ensuring that programs remain aligned with national standards, industry demands, and the evolving needs of our learners.

Also present during the event were core officials from both institutions.
