ZPPSU to leverage digital learning, education

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — Identified faculty members of the university participated in the three-day seminar workshop dubbed, “Harnessing Information and Communication (ICT) Technology Assessment and its Integration in Education,” held recently, this month.

The university is steadfast in leveraging digital learning and education to equip students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.

“Empowering the digital generation requires an integration of ICT in education. Today, let’s explore how technology can revolutionize assessment methods, enhance student engagement, and foster a more inclusive learning environment,” Dean of the College of Information and Computing Sciences Professor Ferdinand Andrade emphasized.

The professor has also stressed out harnessing the potential of ICT to redefine the future of education.

More so, Director of the Center for Digital and Blended Learning, Professor Romeo A. Rabajante Jr., urged educators to positively delve into the world of digital tools, and explore their applications, benefits, and best practices.

“As educators, it’s essential to stay ahead of the curve in leveraging digital tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences,” Prof. Rabajante said.

The workshop tackled the IZMS, Six Learning Blocks/MISMO Framework, and Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning.
