ZPPSU to gear-up e-communication services, security thru PNPKI

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — The university officials acquired training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) system through the College of Information and Computing Sciences in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), held at the ZPPSU accreditation room last July 17, this year.

The resource speakers, DICT Planning Officers Mr. Rezvani E. Ibra and Reginald R. Enriquez have introduced and provided comprehensive information about the PNPKI system.

This established system provides the foundation for secure online transactions and digital communications across government agencies and, eventually, the private sector.

Additionally, PNPKI secures the confidentiality and legitimacy of government electronic documents. At the same time, it prepares the institution for shifting to paperless operations, addressing the core issues of piled-up documents in different offices.

This digital innovation initiative was actively participated by ZPPSU vice presidents, deans of colleges, directors, and heads of offices. (ABC/JRA/Public Information Office)
