ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — The Cultural and Performing Arts of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University was hailed as the overall champion in the recently concluded Cultural Dance Competition held at Paseo Del Mar on August 15, this year.
The team was led by Mr. Ar-Edrin Ustam with the support of dance coaches, including Ms. Ronamie Liga, Mr. Joshua Pioquinto, Mr. Heinrich Siose, Mr. Rayan Molina, Ms. Geraldine Jamilih, and Ms. Jhasmine Dangase, who are all faculty members of the College of Physical Education and Sports.

The event featured six talented groups showcasing the richness of our heritage through captivating performances, organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan Zamboanga City Federation.
MCDT Lunzuran bagged 2nd Place, while La Cultura de Guiwan claimed 3rd Place.

The competition truly became a vibrant celebration of youth talent, creativity, and passion for culture, proving once that Zamboanga’s artistry continues to shine.
