ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — Mid-year accomplishments of the university colleges and offices were reported during the Agency Performance Review 2025, to scrutinize efficiency and ensure alignment of their laid-out programs to the universityโ€™s overall mission, held in a hotel last week, this month.

The officials highlighted their major programs, projects, and outputs that have institutional, community, and national impact respectively. Also, the body shared their challenges and proposed mitigation measures to achieve positive results.

โ€œThis mid-year review is not just about reporting university achievements, but it also aims to fulfill the duties of the ZPPSU officials as public servants,โ€ Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Cyrus Pil Cadavedo said during his opening remarks.

Further, significant indicators for the classification of the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University to SUC Level III were also discussed for its compliance by year 2027.

The leveling process is set to evaluate factors like instruction, research, extension, and management, as this aims to promote accountability, quality education, and effective governance in the state university.

Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Josephine Sulasula encouraged the officials to meet the requirements of the leveling and to recalibrate strategies in delivering programs and initiatives efficiently.
