ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY — In celebration of the Chinese New Year 2026, the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) through the School of Business Administration (SBA) hosted a vibrant festival that showcased Chinese customs and traditions, highlighting cultural appreciation at the SBA ground on February 16, this year.
More than a celebration, the festival was an exposition of studentsโ talents and artistry.

Traditional Chinese dances and songs were performed; innovative booths and cultural displays were showcased; and authentic Chinese cuisine was prepared and creatively presented by the students.
Also, Mandarin was spoken throughout the event, adding depth to the experience.

The celebration of Chinese New Year 2026 signifies a historic milestone for the university.

He also motivated everyone to embody the spirit of new beginnings, togetherness, and celebration in welcoming the year of Fire Horse. The year of the Fire Horse symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and transformation — qualities that inspire to embrace challenges and grow throughout the year.
