ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) commended the university as one of the top-performing agencies in the Gender and Development (GAD) Budget in the year 2024, held at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Quezon City on September 25, this year.
Among the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and National Government Agencies (NGAs) in the country, Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University ranked fifth (5th) as SUC with the highest attributed GAD allocation and placed ninth (9th) as SUC with the highest GAD budget allocation.


“Your efforts prove that the GAD Budget is more than just a number. It is a commitment to bring gender equality and women’s empowerment to the core of government work,” the PCW quoted.
The ZPPSU commits to always integrating GAD in all implementing policies and services to realize inclusivity, create impact, and uphold the rights of all.


ZPPSU GAD Director Ms. Mary Fe M. Dela Cruz and ZPPSU Planning Officer Engr. Edabel Jane Falcasantos represented and received the recognition.
