ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — To reach out and with the goal of serving the entire student body of the main and extension campuses of the university, Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers aspirants shared their powerful platforms and plans during the ‘Miting de Avance 2025,’ held at ZPPSU grounds yesterday, September 24.
The convention aimed to engage with students, listen with discernment, reflect, and ultimately, to come up with an informed decision to elect the next set of student leaders.

The two identified parties — the United Students Party (USP) and Students’ with Integrity and Noteworthy Aims for Good Governance (SINAG), shared their respective proposals, ambitious vision, and legacies before the academic year 2025–2026 ends.
“To our candidates, may you present your visions with clarity, passion, and sincerity, remembering that leadership is not about privilege, but about service,” Dr. Rommel G. Guillermo affirmed.
The candidates were reminded that true leadership is measured not only by words, but by actions.

“Let us foster an atmosphere of fairness, respect, and responsible participation throughout the election season,” Dr. Guillermo emphasized.
The election day will be on Friday, September 26.

The current set of officers of the SSC regime will facilitate the whole-day election.
“Whoever will be elected, we only have one goal, which is to serve the student body of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University,” SSC Adviser Mr. Mark Jones Barredo exclaimed. (JRA/ABC/Photos: JBM/Public Information Office)
