The Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders, Incorporated (PANTAY) organization in the Philippines visited and validated the Gender and Development policies and programs of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, held at the accreditation room and admission office yesterday, November 06.

On behalf of the university community, Dr. Nelson P. Cabral has officially accepted the turn-over of the 400-meter rubberized track oval facility with mini-grandstand from 3VC Construction Incorporated today, October 17.

Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of the university emerged as the overall champions of the recently concluded Zamboanga Hermosa Festival Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, this year.

Identified faculty members of the university participated in the three-day seminar workshop dubbed, “Harnessing Information and Communication (ICT) Technology Assessment and its Integration in Education,” held recently, this month.

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) commended the university as one of the top-performing agencies in the Gender and Development (GAD) Budget in the year 2024, held at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Quezon City on September 25, this year.

To reach out and with the goal of serving the entire student body of the main and extension campuses of the university, Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers aspirants shared their powerful platforms and plans during the ‘Miting de Avance 2025,’ held at ZPPSU grounds yesterday, September 24. 

To officially welcome the first year students and transferees of the university, a weeklong orientation-seminar is being held at the gymnasium from September 22 to 26, this year.

Ms. Stela Maris Quebete, a graduating student of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Garments and Textile Technology (BSIT-GTT) of the university, represented the Philippines in the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition, held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City last month.

Faculty members and administrative personnel of the university attended the orientation on the YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan) program of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), held at the Engineering Building today, September 03.

The Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office of the university, through the Extension Management Office, provided a five-day comprehensive training course on ‘Project PREPARE’ among the Philippine Army personnel of the 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Logistics Support Group, held at their campus recently.
