The Union of Filipino Tourism Educators, Inc. (UFTE), led by President Dr. Rumar R. Abaigar, along with Ms. Steph Plaza, Sales Manager of the Manila International Training and Assessment Center (MITAC), conducted a courtesy visit to ZPPSU on February 5, 2026, to present their proposal for a potential partnership and collaboration. The guests were warmly welcomed and hosted by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Maria Christina G. Wee, OIC Dean of the School of Business Administration Mr. Christian Paul Marcial, Associate Dean Prof. Jocelyn T. Almonte, BSHM Program Chair Ms. Daisy May Reamico, BSHM OJT Coordinator Ms. Emy Antonette Traifalgar, along with BS Hospitality Management professors Ms. Cristen Vinky Manon-og and Albert Villanueva along with the college secretary Ms. Glaiza Grafia. The meeting provided an overview of the UFTE association and its mission to support hospitality and tourism educators in enhancing their expertise in the field, as well as its integration into teaching methodologies. Conversely, MITAC focused on improving the skills and knowledge of students to prepare them for their future careers.
