JRMSU’s Historic Turnover Ceremony of Transformative Leadership – Dr. Cabral to Dr. Naguit Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) made history with a remarkable turnover ceremony of the presidency, which was recently held at Manuel Resort in Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte recently. Vice President for Academic Affairs Jay D. Telen captivated the audience, opening the event with eloquent remarks and sharing firsthand insights into Dr. Cabral’s leadership style. Further, his reflections set the stage for a day focused on guidance and mentorship. Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, the outgoing JRMSU OIC-President and President of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU), delivered profound perspectives, emphasizing the pivotal roles of collaboration and unity in propelling the University towards continued progress. The highlight of the ceremony was the formal turnover ceremony conducted by Dr. Cabral, symbolizing the passing of the torch and ushering in a new era for the university. Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, JRMSU’s 3rd and new president, expressed gratitude and recognized Dr. Cabral’s invaluable contributions.
