Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University has successfully disbursed the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) to 1,078 new grantees under Batch 15, with assistance provided per semester, held at the university grounds recently.
The Scholarship Office headed by Ms. Lilia Remoto, led the distribution in collaboration with the Cashierβs and Accounting Offices to ensure efficient and transparent handling of funds.
Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Cyrus Pil Cadavedo was also present at the event.
TES is a financial aid program under Republic Act No. 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, implemented by the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education through the Commission on Higher Education to help students continue their studies by reducing their financial burdens.
Through this program, ZPPSU reinforces its commitment to providing accessible and equitable education for all, in line with SDG 4 (Quality Education).
