University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral attended the Higher Education Summit 2026 along with other SUC Presidents, key government officials, private higher education leaders, and stakeholders around the country held at SMX Clark in Pampanga from March 10 to 12, this year.
Per se, the summit this year is spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), bringing all education leaders in one forum to foster holistic discourse on curriculum relevance, science-driven human capital strategies, and the development of partnerships across sectors to better prepare graduates for complex societal challenges.
The theme is โACHIEVING Sustainable Futures: Transformative Higher Education for Human Capital, Innovation, and Global Responsibility.โ
ZPPSU Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Josephine L. Sulasula and Board Secretary Ms. Lilia Vesorio was also at the event.
