PASUC Vice President for Mindanao and ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral participated in the first Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Executive Board Meeting for CY 2026 held at Rizal Park Hotel, Manila on February 19, this year.
The meeting discussed the Revised CHED-DBM SUC Levelling Guidelines and Instruments; the Draft Revised Organization and Staffing Standards for SUCs Phase III; and the Review of FY 2025 Financial Statements along with the proposed FY 2026 budget.
The event assembled leaders of State Universities and Colleges nationwide and was honored by distinguished guests, including Chairperson on Senate Committee on Finance Hon. Senator Sherwin T. Gatchalian and Chairperson on Committee on Higher and Technical Education Hon. Congressman Jude A. Acidre.
Meanwhile, ZPPSU Vice President for Finance and Administration Prof. Josephine L. Sulasula and Board Secretary Ms. Lilia F. Vesorio were also in attendance, further strengthening the university’s participation in the meeting.
This participation emphasizes the ZPPSU’s commitment to good governance, institutional partnerships, and continuous advancement of quality higher education.
