ZPPSU, Medicare Plus hold HMO benefits orientation

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — The university, in partnership with Medicare Plus, conducted the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) benefit orientation for university beneficiaries, held at Angara Building today, September 2.

Medicare Plus Concierge Supervisor Mr. Joseph Chua and Sales Manager Mr. Fritz Ivan Rodriguez led the session as resource speakers, who presented detailed insights into the scope of the HMO coverage.

Moreover, the speakers centered their discussions on the HMO availment process, teleconsultation and reimbursement process, and general exclusions and limitations.

This orientation was participated in by vice presidents, key officials, deans of colleges, directors, and heads of offices who actively engaged in the Q and A session, giving the participants a clear understanding of the Medicare Plus holistic benefits and services.

In a continuing effort to promote employees’ wellness in the university community, ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, along with Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Josephine Sulasula, the author of the implementing rules, guidelines, and procedures, and the Faculty Association, headed by Regent Hon.
