Dr. Cabral leads ZPPSU Open House 2025

ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY (PIO) — The university has formally opened the academic year 2025-2026 among thousands of students across its main campus held at the newly-operationalized gymnasium today, August 4.

“As we open the doors of our university today, we also open the doors to opportunity, to transformation, and to a brighter future,” Dr. Cabral affirmed.

An open house event was prepared to welcome both students and faculty, featuring the wide array of academic programs of different colleges and departments, institutional organizations, services, and facilities offered by the institutions.

In addition, a presentation of skills, creativity, and musicality from the ZPPSU Cantamos Chorale and the ZPPSU Culture and Arts group set an inspiring tone in showcasing incredible artistic prowess.

Earlier in the program, the newly hired and promoted employees took their oath of office, and the ZPPSU key officials were duly presented to the academic community.

“Let us be reminded that our vision is to become a world-class polytechnic university, a beacon of knowledge and innovation, not only in the region but also in the global arena. This vision is our north star, guiding every effort we make as educators and learners. Together, we will build a future deeply rooted in excellence, relevance, and impact,” Dr. Cabral added.
