Identified innovators of the university were convened for a three-day seminar-workshop, aimed at strengthening the intellectual property culture of the ZPPSU, held in a hotel from July 16 to 18, this year.

The university officials acquired training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) system through the College of Information and Sciences in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), held at the ZPPSU accreditation room last July 17, this year. 

In response for an efficient and ethical execution of the budget release and utilization of funds among State Universities and Colleges in Zamboanga Peninsula, the Department of Budget and Management – IX converged with the academic institutions today at the national agency’s conference room.

The esteemed polytechnic university in Zamboanga Peninsula has been officially recognized as an institutional member of the Guild of Educators at the TESOL International Institute — Graduate School for Teachers Inc., held in Pasay, Metro Manila, this week.

The university secured its membership at the highly recognized Curriculum Studies Association of the Philippines at the SMX Convention Center Manila on July 10.

To solidify its academic partnership with the prestigious SEEMESOL Incorporated, Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University signed an agreement during the 2025 PASUC Convention at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Function Room in Pasay City, on July 10.

University delegates, headed by ZPPSU President and PASUC Vice President for Mindanao Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, took an active part in the three-day PASUC Convention and General Assembly 2025, held in Pasay City on July 9 to 11, this year.

ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, along with other university chiefs in Zamboanga Peninsula, signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the establishment of a regional research and development consortium in the archipelago, with Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman, held in San Miguel Manila yesterday, July 07.

The Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (OVPAF), headed by Ms. Josephine L. Sulasula, in collaboration with academic and administration officials, convened for a two-day check-in meeting in a hotel on July 3-4, this year.

The 21st Commencement Exercises of the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University – Kabasalan Campus, celebrated the academic feats of the students in the province, held at the Kabasalan Gymnasium on June 9, this year. The graduation rite was dubbed, “Innovating Today, Transforming Tomorrow: Empowering ZPPSU Graduates Towards a Dynamic Future.” “Remember that life will challenge you. Sometimes it will be harsh, but those challenges will shape you. They will reveal the parts of you that are strong, wise, and compassionate. Through them, you will learn what life truly is,” affirmed by the commencement speaker Mr. Rustom L. Liphad. Moreover, the ZPPSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Maria Christina G. Wee, duly confirmed and accepted the candidates for graduation from ZPPSU-EPDU Kabasalan Campus.
