Medicare Plus and MLhuillier ZambaSulTa Region inked a Memorandum of Agreement with Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University – Faculty Association to provide healthcare support and services held at the Engineering Building yesterday, July 29.

After a two-day thorough review of compliance with the International Standard Organization, the College of Marine Education of the university gained noteworthy findings and was certified as compliant today, July 25. 

In a celebration of academic excellence and reflecting strong inter-institutional support, University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral graced the Gala Night of Western Mindanao State University College of Medicine, held at WMSU Gymnasium on July 24, this year.

Registered Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, underwent an evaluation by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), examining the coherence of the programs, held at the institution on July 25, 2025.

The College of Maritime Education of the university is set to reassert its compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, led by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), during the Periodic Audit I at the accreditation room from July 23 to 24, this year.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) comprehensively examined the Master of Technology program of the university for a certificate of compliance, held at Angara Building, today.

The Research Ethics Committee (REC) of the university remained steady in ensuring the ethical compliance of the researchers in their respective studies.

Identified innovators of the university were convened for a three-day seminar-workshop, aimed at strengthening the intellectual property culture of the ZPPSU, held in a hotel from July 16 to 18, this year.

The university officials acquired training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) system through the College of Information and Sciences in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), held at the ZPPSU accreditation room last July 17, this year. 

In response for an efficient and ethical execution of the budget release and utilization of funds among State Universities and Colleges in Zamboanga Peninsula, the Department of Budget and Management – IX converged with the academic institutions today at the national agency’s conference room.
