As one of the highlights of the week-long life celebration of ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, the university, joined the Nationwide Simultaneous Pagbabago: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign as part of the greening program under the Office of the Vice President, held at the Climaco Freedom Park, Abong-abong Pasonanca, in this city today.

Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of the university emerged as the overall champions of the recently concluded Zamboanga Hermosa Festival Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, this year.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) of university conducted its two-day Mid-Semester Check-in Meeting at Seafood, San Roque, Zamboanga City from October 1 to 2, this year.

The Quality Assurance Office headed by Ms. Atika Bidin, facilitated the Echo and Mentoring Session on the AACCUP Survey Instrument held in the Accreditation Room on September 24, this year.

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) commended the university as one of the top-performing agencies in the Gender and Development (GAD) Budget in the year 2024, held at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Quezon City on September 25, this year.

To reach out and with the goal of serving the entire student body of the main and extension campuses of the university, Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers aspirants shared their powerful platforms and plans during the ‘Miting de Avance 2025,’ held at ZPPSU grounds yesterday, September 24. 

To officially welcome the first year students and transferees of the university, a weeklong orientation-seminar is being held at the gymnasium from September 22 to 26, this year.

A signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was held between Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) and University of the Philippines — Diliman, to solidify its academic partnership recently on September 19, this year.
