On behalf of the university community, Dr. Nelson P. Cabral has officially accepted the turn-over of the 400-meter rubberized track oval facility with mini-grandstand from 3VC Construction Incorporated today, October 17.

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability and community partnership, the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) through the Office of the University Climate Change Committee, spearheaded Project MANGROVE (Mangrove Action for Nurturing Green Resilience through Oceanic Vegetation and Ecosytem) at Barangay Kasanyangan, on October 17.

Prioritizing the health and wellness of its employees, the Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU), through its Medical and Dental Services Unit, reaffirmed its commitment by holding a PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan Orientation and Registration Forum at the university gymnasium today, October 16.

As one of the highlights of the week-long life celebration of ZPPSU President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral, the university, joined the Nationwide Simultaneous Pagbabago: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign as part of the greening program under the Office of the Vice President, held at the Climaco Freedom Park, Abong-abong Pasonanca, in this city today.

Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of the university emerged as the overall champions of the recently concluded Zamboanga Hermosa Festival Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, this year.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) of university conducted its two-day Mid-Semester Check-in Meeting at Seafood, San Roque, Zamboanga City from October 1 to 2, this year.
