The Union of Filipino Tourism Educators, Inc. (UFTE), led by President Dr. Rumar R. Abaigar, along with Ms. Steph Plaza, Sales Manager of the Manila International Training and Assessment Center (MITAC), conducted a courtesy visit to ZPPSU on February 5, 2026, to present their proposal for a potential partnership and collaboration. The guests were warmly welcomed and hosted by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Maria Christina G. Wee, OIC Dean of the School of Business Administration Mr. Christian Paul Marcial, Associate Dean Prof. Jocelyn T. Almonte, BSHM Program Chair Ms. Daisy May Reamico, BSHM OJT Coordinator Ms. Emy Antonette Traifalgar, along with BS Hospitality Management professors Ms. Cristen Vinky Manon-og and Albert Villanueva along with the college secretary Ms. Glaiza Grafia. The meeting provided an overview of the UFTE association and its mission to support hospitality and tourism educators in enhancing their expertise in the field, as well as its integration into teaching methodologies. Conversely, MITAC focused on improving the skills and knowledge of students to prepare them for their future careers. Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University through the Public Information Office (PIO), participated in the Industrial Drone Control Training Program hosted by Hytec Power, Inc., and HPI Cybertech Institute Inc. held at the Infant Jesus Academy Marikina, Metro Manila, on February 6, this year.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), in collaboration with the Institutional Evaluation Committee (IEC), successfully conducted the ZPPSU Faculty Orientation on CHED Policies and DBM–CHED Joint Circular No. 3, Series of 2022, held at the university gymnasium last February 03, this year.
